About

A door event and a timesheet entry are the same fact

TeamzPass exists because we kept seeing two systems installed in one lobby, then watching them disagree about who was in the building.

We spent years around access control and workforce software, watching the same pattern repeat: a building would install a door system and a separate attendance system, and the two would never quite agree. People badged in at the entrance and then queued at a wall-mounted clock anyway, because nobody had connected the two events that were obviously the same thing.

So we built TeamzPass as one cloud platform for both sides of that door: credentials, zones, visitors, and the hours that fall out of a well-run entrance. It is built for the person responsible for the building - not bolted onto payroll software as an afterthought, and not a stripped-down access module inside something bigger.

We are deliberate about a few things. Credentials belong on devices people already carry, so nobody has to remember a second object. Controllers must keep working when the line drops, because a locked-out morning shift costs more than a subscription. And revoking access should take one action, not a conversation with three departments.

How we build

  • The wall stays

We replace what decides, not what is drilled in. Reader lists get checked before anything is bought.

  • Offline is the normal case

A building with no internet is a Tuesday, not an incident. The door still has to work.

  • One record, not two

If two systems can disagree about who was present, one of them should not exist.

  • Boring security

Documented decisions, a full audit trail, nothing left to memory. Nothing about access control should be surprising.
